COMMUNITY MEMBERS, FIRST RESPONDERS GATHER FOR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
Local and area communities celebrated another installment of National Night Out on Tuesday.
The annual event brings the public together with local police officers, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, EMS paramedics and other safety officials.
Several locations in Brenham and Washington County, along with neighboring cities and counties, hosted block parties and get-togethers with food, games and fellowship. KWHI and KTEX-106 made a stop at parties throughout the evening.
This year’s theme was “Sirens, Lights and Neon Nights”.
National Night Out was created in 1984 as a crime prevention program with the goal of strengthening relationships between local communities and those who serve them.
