CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL GETS 3-1 WIN OVER HUNTSVILLE
The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team got back in the win column on Friday night with a 3-1 victory over the Huntsville Lady Hornets.
Brenham won the first set 25-23, Huntsville won the second set 25-23, but then the Cubettes came back to claim victory by taking the next two sets 25-18 and 25-19.
On offense, Antiyahna Lang and Hannah Bush led the way with 13 kills each. Brenham also got nine kills from Brooklynn Stolz and eight kills from Maggie Thibodeaux.
From the server's line, Claire Huff, Brinley Benson, and Reese Warmke recorded four aces each.
Huff led the Cubettes with 15 assists, while Benson added 13 assists, and Warmke chipped in with 12 assists.
On defense, Logan Hayslip came through with 22 digs, and Bush was right behind her with 20 digs. Zoe Zwerneman also reached double digits with 12 digs.
Brenham will next return home to face A&M Consolidated on Tuesday at 6pm.
