KWHI TO GIVE AWAY PRIZES AND FUN DURING HALLOWEEN PARTY OCT. 30
KWHI is getting set to celebrate Halloween with its “on the radio” Halloween Party.
Entry cards have been sent out to Washington County schools and can also be picked up at KWHI’s offices in downtown Brenham at 223 East Main Street. Spooky guest DJs will call children and their families on Thursday, October 30th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to give away all kinds of prizes, from toys and gadgets to the grand prizes of girl’s and boy’s bicycles from Mr. Windshield and Burton Veterinary Clinic.
KTEX-KWHI’s Courtney Cartwright says to take note of the date change for the Halloween Party, which has been held for decades on Halloween night but this year is taking place the night before.
Among the dozens of prizes going out will include a mini vending machine from Altman Dentistry, a bug catcher habitat from Kippers Kountry Store, a Brumate Era 40 oz. tumbler from The Paint Warehouse, an arcade basketball set from Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge, a Mac tool playset from Hertel Automotive, a Pop Mart Labubu from Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance, and a Texas-sized Whataburger swag box from Whataburger.
Plenty of other prizes will be given away courtesy of Bilski Water Well Service, Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant, Wingstop, Hermann Furniture, La Morelos Meat Market, Brenham Ace Hardware, Bartay Chiropractic, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, WC Learning Center, Cash Station Jewelry & Loan, Moeller Electric & Plumbing, JB Septic Pumping, Kona Ice, El Rorro Taqueria, Cedar Frame – Eric Benitez, Pool Tex, Performance Health and Wellness, Flamingo Ranch Boutique, Mescalito Coffee, Phillips Veterinary Hospital, Brenham Antique Center, The Barnhill House Toys and Books, Burton Home Builders, Deep in the Heart Farms, Pizzaiolo’s, T3 Truck & Trailer, Plants ‘N Things, and CASA for Kids of South Central Texas.
KTEX-106 will offer bonus prizes like a family four-pack of tickets for the Texas Renaissance Festival and Dewberry Farms’ “A Berry Merry Christmas”.
Entry cards must be turned in by 5 p.m. on the night of the Halloween Party, either in person to the KWHI offices or by mail. Anyone who submits a party card will also receive coupons for Bartay Chiropractic, Pizzaiolo’s, Whataburger, and El Rorro Taqueria.
