54TH ANNUAL COW-CALF CLINIC FRIDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. EXPO
The 54th Annual South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic will be coming to the Washington County Expo in Brenham this Friday.
The clinic offers opportunities to hear from experts in beef cattle operations, visit with producers and tradeshow vendors, watch live cattle demonstrations and win prizes.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with the program running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Expo Sales Facility.
This year’s clinic will focus on Ranching Resilience: Strategies for a Stronger Tomorrow.
A catered barbecue lunch will be provided, and there will be contests, door prize giveaways and a scholarship drawing. Additionally, after the final session, one lucky guest will win a grand prize drawing for $1,500 worth of beef, sponsored by Texas Farm Credit.
The program is organized by the county extension agents and beef and forage committees of Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Colorado, Fayette, Grimes, Lee, Waller and Washington counties.
Registration is $50 per person and can be done on-site or online at www.washington.agrilife.org.
