SEVEN SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Seven people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge Carson Campbell.

48-year-old Francisco Cruz Vasquez of Waller, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More, a third degree felony.

20-year-old Sheldon Dejuan Jennings of Brenham, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 629 days in state jail on three counts of Credit/Debit Card Abuse, a state jail felony.  Jennings was also ordered to pay $2,032 in restitution.

42-year-old Roderick Daryl Jamaal Whiter-Ssinoh of Antioch, California, sentenced to 1 year in the Washington County Jail for Evading Arrest/Detention with Previous Conviction, a Class A misdemeanor. 

70-year-old Kenneth Lionel Roberts of Brenham, sentenced to 120 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony. 

32-year-old Shawndreka Faye Barnes of Somerville, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Injury to a Disabled Individual, a third degree felony.  Barnes was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service. 

32-year-old Trevon Latrell Andres of Houston, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Abandoning/Endangering a Child and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, both state jail felonies.  Andres must also pay a $500 fine and complete a drug offender education program.

21-year-old Nehemiah Miracle Garza of Pearland, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.  Garza was also fined $500 and must complete a drug offender education program.
