DUSTIN MAJEWSKI ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION BID FOR WASHINGTON CO. PRECINCT 4 COMMISSIONER
Washington County Precinct 4 Commissioner Dustin Majewski has announced his intent to seek re-election in next year’s Republican primary.
Majewski was first elected in 2022 and took office in 2023 after the retirement of longtime commissioner Joy Fuchs.
Majewski, a Washington County native, is the co-owner of The Batters Box, Inc. in Brenham, an indoor training facility for baseball and softball. A standout athlete, he was a member of the 2002 National Championship baseball team at the University of Texas, was drafted in 2003 by the Oakland Athletics, and spent seven seasons in the minor leagues.
Majewski says it has been an honor to serve the community and that he sees “real improvements taking hold—making our departments work better together, and strengthening the services folks rely on every day.” He says, “The progress we’ve started is just the beginning, and I’m committed to keeping that momentum going with the same pride, purpose, and partnership that define this great county.”
Saturday was the first official day for candidates to file for a place on the primary ballot in the March 3rd election. The filing deadline is Monday, December 8th.
