BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES RAISES RECORD AMOUNT FOR NON-PROFITS
The spirit of Giving Where You Live has never shone brighter. The Community Foundation announced that the 7th Annual Brazos Valley Gives Day, held on October 21, raised an astounding $1,561,033 in donations, sponsorships, and prizes — a historic milestone for the community.
4,800 donors came together to uplift 200 local nonprofits, proving once again that the Brazos Valley is powered by compassion and fueled by generosity. The final totals were joyfully revealed at the Celebration of Philanthropy Event this past Thursday at the George Bush Library.
Since its launch in 2019, Brazos Valley Gives has inspired over $7.5 million in donations to local nonprofits, transforming lives and strengthening the heart of our region.
The 18-hour online giving initiative continues to unite neighbors, businesses, and organizations in support of vital nonprofit work.
With a simple and secure platform, donors can directly champion the causes closest to their hearts.
Mark your calendars because the 8th Annual Brazos Valley Gives has already been scheduled. It will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
