ACCIDENT, TWO FIRE ALARMS MONDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Monday.
At noon, BFD personnel went out for a fire alarm at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, 700 Medical Parkway. Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building, and a check of the area found no signs of smoke or fire, so the alarm was reset.
Around 5 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a transportation incident in the 600 block of South Market Street. They found a two-vehicle accident and helped EMS with patient care. No fluids were leaking from the vehicles. After the roadway was cleared, the department returned to service.
A few minutes past 6:45 p.m., a fire alarm was reported at Kruse Village, 1700 East Stone Street. Nothing was detected from the outside of the building. Firefighters walked the area where the pull station was activated and found no signs of smoke or fire, so they reset the alarm.
