WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS RECOGNIZE EMPLOYEES FOR SERVICE MILESTONES, HONOR RETIREES
Several Washington County employees and officials were acknowledged today (Monday) by Washington County Commissioners.
The court presented service awards to 18 employees for their years with the county, ranging from 5 years of employment to 25 years. It also commended nine employees and elected officials who are retiring this year.
Employees receiving service awards included:
- 25 years – Duane Boecker
- 20 years – Tanner Jacob, Mark Whidden
- 15 years – Jerod Hartfield
- 10 years – Justin Brending, Cathy Fritz, Mark Young, Mitch Dreyer, Floyd Mathis, Paul Kramer, Eddie Ocanas
- 5 years – Matthew Buerger, Martin Kubeczka, Lance Lehde, Sarah Littleton, Roy “Gene” Noey, Luis Pizarro, Harrison Williams
Retirees who were honored were:
- Beth Rothermel – 33 years
- Douglas Cone – 30 years
- Peggy Bland – 27 years
- Marlow Lowery – 26 years
- Bryan Ruemke – 24 years
- Janet Daniel – 15 years
- Ray Duch – 13 years
- Gerald Wehring – 12 years
- Lionel Newsome – 9 years
