WASHINGTON COUNTY JUNETEENTH ASSOCIATION TO HOLD BLACK TIE AFFAIR

  

The Washington County Juneteenth Association is inviting the public to attend their upcoming fundraiser entitled, “A Black Tie Affair.”

The fundraiser is being held on Saturday, January 10, at 6:30pm at the American Legion Hall Post 48 located at 903 North Park Street in Brenham.

Guests are asked to wear formal attire. Individual tickets are $20 each. The tables of ten for $200 are sold out, but they do still have tables of eight for $160, or tables of six for $120.

Donations are also being accepted. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Juneteenth Association’s student scholarships.

Food will be provided, but everyone in attendance is encouraged to bring their own beverages.

Entertainment includes saxophonist Christina Williams Woodard and Tunzafun’s Alvard Hamilton.

Yvonne Tomlinson with Spectator Photography will be taking pictures from 7-9pm.
