LIFETIME LEARNING TO ANNOUNCE WASHINGTON CO. READ BOOK JAN. 15
Lifetime Learning Brenham is getting ready to reveal its selection for the 2026 Washington County READ.
The announcement will take place during a ribbon cutting on Thursday, January 15th at 1 p.m. at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
Each year, Lifetime Learning selects a book for the community through the Washington County READ. The program promotes literacy by encouraging book groups, service organizations, friends and families to read the selected book.
The program culminates at the annual READ reception at Unity Theatre, a free event that includes refreshments, a dramatic reading, a presentation from the author of the book, and a book signing.
