CUB BASKETBALL GOES UNBEATEN AT THE MIKE SMITH CLASSIC

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team swept through the competition with a perfect 4-0 record at the Mike Smith Classic after earning two more wins yesterday (Tuesday).

The Cubs and Kerrville Tivy both were undefeated in the tournament, but Tivy was credited as first place due to point differential.

In yesterday's (Tuesday's) opener, Brenham beat St. Pius 60-30, and then they followed that up with a 73-64 victory over Edinburg. (We will provide stats when we receive them.)

Jayden Hebert was named as the tournament MVP, while Quincy Adams made the all-tournament team.

Next up for the Cubs, they will return home this Friday night for their district opener against Montgomery.
