BRENHAM FD RESPONDS TO TWO ACCIDENTS, TWO FIRE ALARMS

The Brenham Fire Department was called out four times between Saturday and early this (Monday) morning.

At 11:45 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a crash at Highway 290 West and Highway 36 North.  They provided traffic control and checked for injuries, of which there were none.

Just past noon on Sunday, units went out to Prairie Lea Hall, 911 West Fifth Street, for a fire alarm.  They made location to find a pull station had been pulled, so they reset the alarm.

Another fire alarm was reported around 2:15 p.m. at Domino’s Pizza, 401 Highway 290 West.  The department discovered the bathroom smoke detector had activated.  After checking the bathroom, personnel reset the alarm.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m. today, BFD members were dispatched to a crash at Highway 105 at Tielke Lane.  They proceeded to provide traffic control and remove debris from the roadway.  There were no injuries.
