BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE TO PRESENT ‘THE LIGHTNING THIEF’ FEB. 5-8

  

Brenham High School theatre students are getting ready to present an adaptation of a well-known children’s fantasy novel.

Cub Company will produce “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”, with shows scheduled February 5-8 at the Brenham High School auditorium.

“The Lightning Thief” is the first installment in Rick Riordan’s “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” series.  It follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he is the son of the Greek god, Poseidon, and learns of his great powers while attending Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary for demigod children.  He is then tasked with recovering the Master Bolt of Zeus.

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on February 5^th and 6^th, 2 and 7 p.m. on February 7^th, and 2 p.m. on February 8^th.
