MULTI-AGENCY OPERATION LEADS TO ARREST OF WANTED FUGITIVE
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, made an arrest on a wanted fugitive this (Thursday) morning.
Travis Carl Hinze was wanted on a parole violation from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Parole Division.
He was arrested at a residence in Houston during a joint operation, which was led by the Waller County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division, and included the Prairie View Police Department, the Victoria Division of the United States Marshals Service, and the Harris County Precinct One Tactical Unit.
According to a press release, Hinze has an extensive criminal history, and was classified as a fugitive from justice.
Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry said that Hinze’s arrest underscores the importance of strong partnerships and cooperation among law enforcement agencies at the local, regional, and state levels.
He added that the collaboration on the arrest ensured a safe and successful outcome for both the officers, and the community.
