ARREST MADE IN LEE CO. EXPLOSIVES INVESTIGATION

  

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in connection to an investigation concerning explosive devices.

Authorities were called out on Wednesday to the intersection of Bowers Street and County Road 425 in Dime Box, where the devices were located and collected.

The sheriff’s office said on Thursday that it executed a search and arrest warrant at a location in Burleson County, alongside other local, state and federal agencies. 

72-year-old Randolph Michael Young was taken into custody without incident.  After being taken to a local hospital for unrelated medical treatment, he was booked into the Lee County Jail on an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon – Explosives, a third degree felony.
