CUBETTE SOCCER WINS TRINITY RIVER ROYALE TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Cubettes picked up two more victories on Saturday and brought home the Trinty River Royale Tournament Championship.

In the semifinals, the Cubettes beat the home team Liberty, 4-1. Denali Washington had two goals, while Alayna Allen and Mya Vyskocil each added two goals of their own.

They would then head to the finals against Captain Shreve, who are from Shreveport, LA.

It went to the shootout, which the Cubettes won 3-2. Alyce Sheets scored the final goal to give Brenham the victory and the championship.

The Cubettes are now 8-0 on the season. Next up, Brenham will be back at home tomorrow night to open up District 17-5A play against College Station at Cub Stadium.

The JV match begins at 5pm, followed by the Varsity match at 7pm.
