WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT SCHEDULED TO MEET ON TUESDAY

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court is scheduled to meet in Special Session coming up on Tuesday.

Among the agenda items for the meeting is the approval of former County Judge Dorothy Morgan to be re-appointed to the Brazos Valley Board of Trustees for the Mental Health Mental Retardation Authority.

They will also vote on the appointment of Dr. John B. Holcomb as the EMS Associate Medical Director.

There are going to be some personnel decisions as well. They include moving the Payroll Benefits Position from the County Treasurer Department to the Human Resources Department, and hiring a Fire Services Director for the pay rate exceeding the 6% allowable amount in accordance with county policy.

Commissioners will also be hearing monthly reports from various County Departments including the offices of Sheriff, County Clerk, District Clerk, Auditor, Justice of the Peace, Tax Assessor/Collector, Treasurer, Constables, Elections, and Veterans.

In addition to that, they are scheduled to give County Treasurer Peggy Kramer the authorization to advertise for bank depository bids that conform to all applicable state and federal laws, which will provide for all banking services required for the funds of Washington County.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets on Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
