CHAPPELL HILL CHAMBER ELECTS NEW OFFICERS, BOARD MEMBERS
The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce has new leadership, following last week’s annual general membership meeting.
Two new members were elected to the Chamber’s Board of Directors: Connie Burch and Lauren Cox.
Officers elected for 2026 are Sharlie Douglass (J. Hill Properties), president; Connie Burch (Round Top Real Estate), vice president; Mandy Forbes (Cottages at Chappell Hill), treasurer; Lauren Cox (Landmark Properties), secretary.
Douglass previously served as vice president of the Chamber and currently serves as president of both the Chappell Hill Water Supply Corporation and Washington County Historical Commission.
Joel Romo will serve a one-year term as immediate past president.
Douglass says she appreciates the opportunity to lead the Chamber and “work alongside such dedicated board members and volunteers.” She adds, “Chappell Hill is home to a diverse mix of retail, commercial, and agricultural businesses, and we are a very active chamber. I look forward to working with our community and partners across Washington County.”
The Chamber is preparing for its annual Wine and Chocolate Stroll on February 14th. It also coordinates several signature community events throughout the year, including the Art Walk in May, the Independence Day Parade, and monthly Business After Hours events.
