SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS ON INJURY, CRIMINAL TRESPASS CHARGES

  

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported one arrest on Tuesday for criminal trespass and another on Wednesday on an injury charge.

Just past 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sergeant Corey Himebaugh responded to a disturbance in the 8700 block of Highway 290 East.  The sheriff’s office stated it received a report that a male subject on location was throwing things and acting irate.  Contact was made with the suspect, who was taken into custody after further investigation.  48-year-old Rodney Jerome Wallace of Bellville was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Criminal Trespass.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to the 11300 block of Lakeview Road for an out-of-county warrant service.  According to the sheriff’s office, 68-year-old Lawrance Alan Binder of Katy was wanted out of Chambers County.  Binder was taken to the Washington County Jail without incident for Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual with Intentional Serious Bodily Injury/Mental Impairment.
