BRENHAM WOMAN BOOKED FOR THEFT, INVALID LICENSE

A Brenham woman was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday for charges of theft and driving with an invalid license.
At 11:45 p.m., Corporal Albert Vasquez initiated a traffic stop for speeding at FM 2447 and Main Street.
The sheriff’s office says the driver, 34-year-old Shekyra Nemonae Punchard, was found to have an active warrant and was taken into custody.
Punchard was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Theft of Property $100 - $750 and Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
