BRENHAM PD REPORTS ARRESTS FOR WARRANTS, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  

Brenham police made two warrant arrests between Tuesday and early this (Wednesday) morning.

Around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Officer Stephen Mosley responded to the 2900 block of South Blue Bell Road in reference to a welfare concern.  Police say their investigation revealed that the subject of the welfare concern, 39-year-old Michael Chalfant of Brenham, possessed an active warrant out of Washington County for Display/Expired Registration.  Chalfant was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for the active warrant and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram.

Andy Joelee Doolan

At 12:30 a.m. today, Officers Eric Crosby and Mateo Guillen responded to the 1900 block of Northview Circle Drive regarding a disturbance.  Police say one of the subjects, 41-year-old Andy Joelee Doolan of Brenham, showed to have three warrants out of Burleson County.  Doolan was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Failure to Appear – Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction, Failure to Stop for a School Bus, and No Driver’s License.
