BURLESON STREET ROAD CLOSURE ENDING AFTER CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BRIDGE
A months-long road closure put into place as part of a drainage improvement project on Burleson Street in Brenham is coming to an end.
The city has been working since mid-August to replace the low-water crossing near the 1500 block of Burleson Street with a new, elevated bridge structure in order to improve access and safety for residents during heavy rain events. The crossing has been fully closed since mid-October.
