BRENHAM ANIMAL SERVICES TO HOST FREE RABIES VACCINE & MICROCHIP CLINIC APRIL 1

Brenham Animal Services will host a free rabies vaccine and microchip clinic for Washington County residents.

The clinic will be held on Wednesday, April 1st from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center, 1804 Longwood Drive. Brenham Animal Services says the clinic aims to help protect pets and the community by ensuring animals are vaccinated against rabies and are permanently identified through microchipping.

Participation is limited to Washington County residents and domestic pets only – no feral cats.  The clinic will serve up to 50 animals.

Pets must be at least 12 weeks old to receive a rabies vaccination.  Animals that are not already microchipped will be required to receive a microchip before receiving the rabies vaccine.

Pre-registration is required.  A separate registration form must be completed for each pet, with a maximum of three pets per household.  Registration will be open until March 30th, or until the 50-animal capacity is reached, whichever occurs first.

A link to register is available here.
