SEVEN SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Seven people pleaded guilty and were sentenced last week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge Carson Campbell.

27-year-old Christopher Stefanik of Brenham, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 10 years in prison for Burglary of a Habitation and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, both second degree felonies.

47-year-old William Edmondson Demond Moultrie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sentenced to 180 days in state jail for Possession of Marijuana 4oz. – 5lbs, a state jail felony.

59-year-old Joe Lee Phillips of Chappell Hill, sentenced to 120 days in the Washington County Jail for Burglary of a Building, a state jail felony.

19-year-old Jeremiah Keshawn Hudgen of Burton, sentenced to 8 years’ probation for Assault Intentionally/Recklessly Impeding Breath/Circulation to a Family Member with Previous Conviction, a second degree felony.  Hudgen was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, a $100 family violence fee to a shelter and a $50 crime stoppers fee.  He must also spend 180 days in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation and complete a batterers intervention program.

33-year-old David Daniel Dudley of Bellville, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony.  Dudley will also have to pay a $500 fine, a $180 lab fee and a $50 crime stoppers fee, in addition to completing a drug offender education program.

35-year-old Ulysses Garcia of El Paso, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.  Garcia was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, a $180 lab fee and a $50 crime stoppers fee.  He will also have to perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.

56-year-old Sandra Johnson Wilson of Giddings, sentenced to 180 days’ probation for Theft $100 - $750, a Class B misdemeanor.  Wilson must also pay $147.01 in restitution and a $50 crime stoppers fee, and she will have to perform 40 hours of community service.
