BLUE BELL TRUCK CRASHES AT HARRIS CO. GAS STATION

  

A Blue Bell Ice Cream truck was involved in a crash this (Thursday) morning at a gas station in north Harris County.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office shared a notice on social media shortly after 9:30 a.m., alerting travelers to the accident at a Chevron station in the 21700 block of Aldine Westfield Road. 

According to the constable’s office, the truck crashed into the gas station gate and fell into a large hole on the property.

Firefighters and EMS responded to the scene for injuries, the extent of which were not stated.  A heavy-duty wrecker was also called in.

The constable’s office did not say what led up to the crash. 

Blue Bell Creameries issued a statement saying it is working with local authorities as they investigate the accident.  The company said it appreciates the outpour of concern for its route sales representative, but has no other details to share at this time.
