SCHULENBURG TO HOST THEIR 11TH ANNUAL SAUSAGEFEST
The 11th Annual Schulenburg Sausagefest is coming to historic Downtown Schulenburg on Saturday, April 11th.
The day begins with “the Shortest Parade in Texas” at 11:15am. Admission to Sausagefest is free of charge.
The event features musical entertainment provided by the Czechaholics, the Matt Bonner Band, as well as Mark Halata and Texavia.
It is the only festival in Texas with their own sausage-making contest, plus they have a hog calling contest and a sausage-toss contest.
Other activities include dancing in the street, a biergarten, arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities, a grand march, a fun run, and the American Legion Black Bean Motorcycle Ride.
Great food and cold beverages will be served.
