BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS CITY MANAGER POSITION IN EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Brenham City Council will hold an executive session on Monday regarding the city manager position.
The closed-door discussion will pertain to the evaluation and interviewing of candidates for the role of city manager. No action is scheduled to be taken.
Carolyn Miller is retiring after having served as city manager since September 2021. She first joined the city in 2005 and has held several other leadership roles, including finance director, chief financial officer and assistant city manager.
The city will hold a public reception for Miller on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morriss Hall at The Barnhill Center.
The council will meet Monday at 1 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
