FOUR SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Four people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.
35-year-old Kesean Tyrell Graves of Giddings, sentenced to 15 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Over 400 Grams, a first degree felony. Graves was also sentenced to 383 days in state jail for Evading Arrest/Detention with Previous Conviction, a state jail felony.
54-year-old John Fitzgerald Chark of Houston, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 45 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.
56-year-old Curtis Lynn Walker of Houston, sentenced to 1 year in the Washington County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, a Class A misdemeanor.
22-year-old Jahnicka Mashay Smith of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, a Class A misdemeanor. Smith was also ordered to pay a $200 fine, perform 80 hours of community service, maintain no threatening or harassing contact with the victim in the case, and complete a batterers intervention program.
