Just past 5:15 a.m., Officer Trinten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Highway 36 South.
Police say their investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 54-year-old John Conwill, had two active warrants out of the Washington County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace for Driving While License Invalid and another for Expired/No Registration.
Conwill was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for the warrants.
