CHAPPELL HILL ALL SET FOR BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND
Chappell Hill is planning for thousands of visitors this weekend as a springtime tradition gets underway.
The Chappell Hill Historical Society’s 62nd Annual Bluebonnet Festival will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday in downtown Chappell Hill.
Local business owner and event supporter Scott Atwood, speaking during Tuesday’s KWHI Community Corner, says the festival brings in people from all over to enjoy shopping at hundreds of vendors, live music and other fun activities.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy tours of historic buildings and a kids’ play area.
Atwood says the atmosphere is great for families to come enjoy a relaxing weekend out in the country.
Admission to the Bluebonnet Festival is free. Parking is $10. Proceeds benefit the Chappell Hill Historical Society and its mission of preserving the town’s history and heritage.

Courtney Cartwright will be broadcasting live from the festival tomorrow morning on KWHI and KTEX-106.
