BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET ON TUESDAY

  

The Burton City Council is scheduled to hold their next regular meeting on Tuesday night.

Among the action items, it the appointment of Dale Schwartz as Acting City Secretary, and administering the Oath of Office.

Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson is scheduled to make a presentation.

Council Members will also discuss and vote on three bids for replacement entrance gates at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The Council is also going into executive session.

Items on the agenda when they come out of executive session is the hiring of AOKA for an engineering review of the construction plans for Burton ISD.

They are also going to take up the hiring of a candidate for City Secretary that has been recommended by the Council’s interview subcommittee.

The Burton City Council meets Tuesday at 5:30pm at the Burton City Hall.
