49ERS TRADE BURTON’S WINTERS TO THE COWBOYS
A local favorite is coming home!
Last (Friday) night, the San Francisco 49ers traded LB Dee Winters to the Dallas Cowboys for a 5th round draft pick.
Winters played three seasons in San Francisco, and became a first-time NFL starter this past season. He started all 17 games, recording 101 tackles, and also had a 75-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Winters played high school football for the Burton Panthers, and later went on to play college football at TCU.
He is in the final year of his rookie contract.
