BRENHAM PD REPORTS ARRESTS ON CHARGES INCLUDING TERRORISTIC THREAT, WARRANT FOR INDECENCY WITH CHILD
Brenham police arrested six people between Friday and Sunday.
At 8 a.m. Friday, Officers Eric Crosby, Mateo Guillen and Trinten Rolling responded to the 900 block of Geney Street for a disturbance. After further investigation, 44-year-old Jose Avalos of Brenham was taken into custody for Terroristic Threat of a Family/Household Member and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in without incident.
Around 7 p.m., Officers Brayten Rolling and Navone Gurley, along with Sergeant Jose Perez, executed an arrest warrant in the 2600 block of Country Meadows Lane. Police located 53-year-old Jordan Anthony Spahn of Brenham, who they reported to have an active warrant for Indecency with a Child – Sexual Contact. Spahn was taken into custody for the warrant without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail.
A few minutes after 8:30 p.m., Sergeant Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Tom Green Street. Investigation revealed that the driver, 20-year-old Anthony Martinez of Brenham, showed to have a local warrant for Speeding. Martinez was placed into custody for the warrant and taken to the Washington County Jail.
Shortly after 8:45 p.m., Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of North Park Street. During the stop, police say they found that the driver, 36-year-old Stephen Ray Morse of Brenham, had an active warrant out of Washington County for Criminal Trespass. Morse was taken into custody and booked into the Washington County Jail.
Just shy of 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a complainant call in the 700 block of Pleasantview Avenue. After identifying subjects on scene, police reported finding that 63-year-old Imon Lindsey Osborne of Brenham had two active warrants out of Washington County for Capias Pro Fine – Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2-A, Less Than 2oz. and Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction. Osborne was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in without incident.
Close to 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Officer Mosley conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Highway 290 West. A probable cause search was conducted after police reported detecting the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Police say the driver was found to be in possession of a usable amount of marijuana. 49-year-old Brandi Renee Craney of Liberty Hill was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and taken to the Washington County Jail.
