STARS OVER WASHINGTON COUNTY: FREE CONCERT, FIREWORKS SHOW PLANNED FOR AMERICA250 CELEBRATION
Washington County has announced its plans for celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary.
The county is partnering with the Cities of Brenham and Burton to host “Stars Over Washington County”. The free Fourth of July event, taking place from 6 to 11 p.m., will bring live music, family-friendly activities and a fireworks display to the Washington County Expo.
Gates to the Expo on July 4th will open at 6 p.m. for shopping at food trucks and vendors, as well as a touch-a-truck experience for the kids.
A concert gets underway at 8 p.m. with ESCAPE – A Tribute to Journey. A fireworks show will light up the sky at 9:20 p.m.
Visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Personal fireworks, sparklers, drones, laser pointers, glass containers and cooking devices are prohibited.
The county is taking applications for food trucks and vendors interested in being a part of the event. Applications are available through the link here.
