OVER 2,000 BALLOTS CAST THROUGH TWO DAYS OF EARLY VOTING
The second day of early voting in Washington County for the primary runoff election maintained consistent turnout in comparison to the first day.
According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, Tuesday brought out 1,034 voters, including 988 Republicans and 46 Democrats.
So far, 2,039 voters have participated in the runoff, consisting of 1,951 Republicans and 88 Democrats.
Early voting at the Washington County Courthouse Annex continues through Friday, with hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
Election Day is Tuesday.
