FREE CREDIT 101 COURSE JUNE 8 AT WASHINGTON CO. EXPO

  

Anyone wanting to learn more about their credit score and how they can improve it is encouraged to attend an upcoming Credit 101 course in Brenham.

The free course is being provided by the Prairie View A&M University Extension Program and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, in partnership with Citizens State Bank.  It will take place on Monday, June 8th at the Washington County Expo Event Center.

Registration and a light meal will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by the program from 6 to 8 p.m.

Participants will learn simple steps to raise their credit score and gain practical tools to take charge of their credit.  The program includes educational materials, an opportunity to speak with a loan officer, discussion with a PVAMU Extension Specialist on USDA loans and grant opportunities, and door prizes.

While the program is free, registration is required by tomorrow (Friday).
