BREMOND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOLD ANNUAL POLSKI DZIEN

  

The Bremond Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to their annual Polski Dzien festival next weekend.

The event, which is a celebration of the town’s Polish heritage, will be held on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27.

Friday night’s entertainment will feature D.J. Drew Tate on Main Street from 4-8pm, followed by the Alex Meixner Band from 8-11pm.

Meanwhile, at the White Eagle Music Hall, the Harfmann Duo performs from 4-6pm, followed by the Texas Legacy Band from 6-9pm.

Other activities include food and craft booths, a 42 domino tournament, and volleyball.

Saturday’s festivities begin with the Polish Pickle Run at 8am. That will be followed by the opening ceremony at 10am, a washer tournament at 10:30am, and the parade at 11am.

There will also be a barbecue cookoff.

Entertainment at the White Eagle Music Hall will include the Ennis Czech Boys from 9am-noon, Brian Marshall and the Tex-Slavik Playboys from 1-5pm, and the Moravians from 5:30-9:30pm.

On Main Street, it starts with D.J. Drew Tate from 9-11:30am, Jerry Haisler and Melody 5 from 11:30am-2:30pm, Tate returns from 2:30-4pm, followed by the Praha Brothers from 4-7pm, Faith Wilganowski from 7-8pm, and the Emotions wrap up the day from 8pm-midnight.
