FRIENDS OF BLUEBONNET OPRY MAKE DONATION TO HOSPICE BRAZOS VALLEY
The Friends of the Bluebonnet Opry made a special presentation at their monthly event this past Thursday.
Hospice Brazos Valley President and CEO Lisa McNair was presented with a check for $5,500, which represented the Opry’s fundraising efforts for the past six months.
The Opry Friends have set a goal of raising $11,000 this year, and are half way there.
The Bluebonnet Opry holds regular traditional country music shows on the third Thursday of each month at the Silverwings Ballroom in Brenham.
Proceeds from each show go to benefit Hospice Brazos Valley.
Their next show is on July 16 with Tommy Hooker and Dennis Ivey.
