BRENHAM FD RESPONDS TO REPORTS OF ACCIDENT, GRASS FIRE

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Tuesday. 

Close to 5 p.m., units responded to a report of a crash in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street.  However, no crash was found.

Just shy of 7:30 p.m., members of the Brenham Fire Department and Salem Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a grass fire in the 2900 block of Highway 290 East.  They made location to find it was a controlled burn, so they returned to service.
