The Austin County Grand Jury met last week and returned 17 indictments.

23-year-old Tykel Malik Johnson, indicted for Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Other Felony.

35-year-old Marvin Ernesto Castro, for Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction and Assault of a Family/Household Member Impeding Breath/Circulation. 

38-year-old Erick Wayne Johnson, for Assault of a Peace Officer/Judge and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

43-year-old Jonathan Jones, for Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction.

37-year-old Demario Shawn Barnes and 25-year-old Cameron Javaris Clater, both for Illegal Barter/Expenditure of Property/Finance.

28-year-old Wesley Dean Arnold Buckner and 19-year-old Leon Austin Matthew Howard, both for Theft of Property $2,500 - $30,000. 

23-year-old Gabriel Jonathan Heinen, 19-year-old Graham Jonathan Knight and 24-year-old Cody Schlatterbeck, all for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle.

26-year-old Jada Nicole Johnson, for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years of Age and Abandoning/Endangering a Child with Intent to Return.

36-year-old Latoya Ann Hood, for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information Less Than 5 Items.

41-year-old Nelson Givan Escobar, for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

24-year-old Dedrick Dewayne Bell, 34-year-old Robert Lighthill and 48-year-old Christopher Demond Traylor, all for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
