BURLESON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RELEASES STATEMENT REGARDING SEX CRIME ARRESTS

The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office is cracking down on sex crimes in their communities.

According to a press release issued by Public Information Officer Sgt. Randy Jackson, since July of 2025, the Sheriff’s Office has made 41 arrests connected to sex crimes.

These cases include prostitution and on-line solicitation of minors.

Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios posted a video on social media in which he said that they will use every lawful tool available to identify, investigate, and arrest those who prey on others especially those who target children.

Rios said, “To the predators and those who would solicit or exploit: if you operate in Burleson County, you will be found. You will be held accountable.”

Sheriff Rios assured victims and their families that they will continue to do everything in their power to give them protection, and bring the offenders to justice.

Rios closed by adding, “Protecting our children and the most vulnerable members of this community is not just part of the job, it is the job.  We will not stop.”
