PEACE OFFICER SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE NEARING ITS DEADLINE
The Washington County Peace Officers Association is helping local students to get ready for the upcoming start of the fall semester.
The Peace Officers Association is holding a “Fill the Patrol Car” Supply Drive through Wednesday.
Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other school supplies can be taken to the Brenham Police Station, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, or the Texas DPS Office at Blinn College.
Donations may also be given to any member of the Washington County Peace Officers Association, the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the Brenham Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), or Washington County Constables Precincts 1–4.
The Washington County Peace Officers Association and its partnering agencies said they appreciate the continued generosity of the community and encourage everyone to participate. Together, they hope to ensure Washington County students have the supplies they need for a great start to the school year.
On their Facebook page, the Peace Officers Association recognized Precision Polymer Engineering for their Back-to-School event that was held this past Friday at Henderson Park.
The Peace Officers thanked PPE for their generous donations in helping the local youth get ready for their impending return to the classroom.
