BRENHAM VOLLEYBALL GOES 1-2 ON DAY ONE OF THE WARRIOR SHOWCASE

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team opened the season with mixed results at the Warrior Showcase Tournament in Round Rock earlier today (Thursday).

In the first match of the day, the Cubettes swept the Texas Lions Academy in two straight sets 25-20 and 25-13 to pick up their first win of the season.

However, Brenham would drop their final two matches of the day to Leander Glenn and Northwest.

The Cubettes were swept by Glenn 25-16 and 25-17.

They would then lose their last match of the day to Northwest High School, which is out of Justin, Texas, 25-17 and 25-13.

The Warrior Showcase continues on Friday with more bracket play tomorrow (Friday). The tournament wraps up with Bracket play on Saturday.
