CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL GOES 1-2 FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT DAY AT WARRIOR SHOWCASE

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team went 1-2 today (Friday) on the second day of pool play at the Warrior Showcase Tournament.

Even though the tournament is being host by Round Rock West Wood, due to 32 teams being involved, Brenham's matches were held at Cedar Ridge High School.

The Cubettes opened the day by losing two very competitive sets to Kingwood Park. Kingwood Park won the first set 26-24, and then took the second set 25-21.

In the second match of the day, Brenham picked up their second win of the tournament with a sweep over Round Rock McNeil by scores of 25-20 and 25-8.

Then, in the final match of the day, the Cubettes lost to Copperas Cove in two competitive sets 25-21 and 25-23.

Brenham finishes pool play with a 2-4 record. Bracket play begins tomorrow (Saturday).
