BURTON CROSS COUNTRY RUNS AT CALDWELL

The Burton Panthers continued their 2026 Cross Country season with a trip to Caldwell this morning. The Panthers journeyed to Davidson Creek Park for the long running Invitational hosted by the City of Caldwell and Caldwell High School. The spectator friendly course winds around ponds and through woodlands for a 2 mile course for all competitors. 

The Lady Panthers ran first, led by freshman Paisley Goldberg, who finished 6th overall and earned a medal. She was followed by fellow freshman Isis Schulte, 18th overall, and Captain Autumn Applewhite, 33rd overall. Rounding out the top five were Kinley Frank (Jr.) and Rose Nall (Fr.), who logged a personal best. Also running for the Lady Panthers and logging personal best on the day were Isablella Alvarado (Fr.), Madison Helton (Sr.), Jessica Strickland (Fr.), and Dani York (Fr.).

The Panthers were led by Even Guerrero (So.) and Zach Purvis (Jr.), who both finished in the top 25. Also scoring for the Panthers were Klein Rhodes (So.), James Jarvis (So.), and Bowen Levlon (Fr.). Rounding out the Burton team were Dylan Dallmeyer (Jr.), Colton Vickers (So.), Andrew Gonzales (Jr.), Matty Countouriotis (Fr.), and Tyler Ramirez (So.).

The Panthers travel to Shiner next week for a Thursday evening run at the city park.
