BURTON VOLLEYBALL WINS TWO MATCHES ON FINAL DAY OF RICE TOURNAMENT

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team won both of their matches on the final day of the Rice Consolidated Tournament in Altair on Saturday.

Madalyn Henry led the Lady Panthers with 15 kills and 13 digs. Kinsey Lunbeck added nine kills. Laci Broesche finished with seven kills, ten digs, and 28 assists.

Adison Harmel led the defense with 25 digs, and also dished out eight assists. Natalie Hodde chipped in with 13 digs.

Burton would then sweep Palacios 2-0, 25-21 and 25-8.

Henry had seven kills and eight digs. Lunbeck finished with nine kills. Hodde chipped in with eight kills and nine digs. Harmel added 19 digs. Laci Broesche had another double-double with 11 digs and 27 assists.

Next up, the Lady Panthers will travel to Caldwell tomorrow (Tuesday) night for a 6pm start time.
