LIFETIME LEARNING BRENHAM TO DISCUSS IMPACT OF DATA CENTERS
Lifetime Learning Brenham will host a program this week about data centers and their impact.
Dr. Margaret Cook, Vice President of Water and Community Resilience with the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC), will speak on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham, 314 East Alamo Street.
Attendees will be able to learn more about the effects of data centers on water and energy supply, as well as how communities can get involved.
HARC addresses social, economic and environmental challenges to communities by developing and implementing science-driven sustainable solutions. Dr. Cook leads a team of experts whose goal includes building collaboration within a community to ensure the availability and affordability of clean water.
