COMMUNITIES COME TOGETHER FOR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Area communities gathered on Tuesday to celebrate National Night Out.

Each year, neighbors and first responders come together on National Night Out to enjoy food, games and fellowship.

Several locations in Brenham and Washington County played host to block parties, as well as neighboring cities and counties.

This year’s theme was “Party Like it’s 1999.”

National Night Out was created in 1984 as a crime prevention program with the goal of strengthening relationships between local communities and those who serve them.

KWHI and KTEX-106 stopped at block parties throughout the region.
