AMBER ALERT ISSUED AFTER MOTHER FOUND DEAD

  

An amber alert for two Texas girls and their suspected kidnapper has police in several states frantically searching, after the girls’ mother was found dead.

The body of 44 year old Tonya Bates was discovered in her Round Rock home Sunday.  Her two daughters, 14 year old Lilianais Griffith and 7 year old Luluvioletta Bandera-Magret, are now missing.  Police believe the girls may have been kidnapped by their mother’s roommate, 44 year old Terry Allen Miles.  He may be driving the girls in a gray, 2017 Hyundai Accent hatchback with Texas license plate JGH9845.  The car has a white sticker in the upper right side of the rear window.

The older girl is described as about 5 foot tall and 100 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes.  She has braces and a nose stud on the right side.  The younger girl also has brown hair and eyes, and is about 4 foot 5 inches tall and weighs 75 pounds.  Miles is described as 6 foot 2 inches tall and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.  He wears glasses and has a beard.

Police have not determined a cause or motive for Bates’ death or the alleged kidnapping.
